Ok, so it is highly likely that this upcoming Rocket’s season could be a very rough one — even a diehard fan like myself can admit that. Much like the last place Astros, the Rockets are in full rebuilding mode and despite the organization’s continued optimism, Superman (Dwight Howard) isn’t swooping in to save the day. But hey, enough doom and gloom, at least we still have the Rockets Power Dancers! Huzzah!
Hundreds of Houston’s most talented dancers converged on Toyota Center last weekend to audition for the Rocket’s 2012-2013 Power Dancers squad. By the end of the day, 20 finalist were selected to move on to the final auditions at House of Blues on August 8th.
