Manor on Washington

When you hear the term manor, you tend to envision a large, prestigious mansion — or at least a really large building. So its understandable to wonder whether or not you’re at the right place when you turn into the parking lot of the Washington Avenue club, Manor, and see the surprisingly small venue.

Those that frequent Manor though will tell you that what the venue lacks in appearance from the outside, it more than makes up for with a huge party atmosphere on the inside. With a dark ambiance, plush seating areas, and a bar that spans the entire length of the club, Manor’s small interior puts you right in the middle of the party.

Now let’s be honest, if you are the type of club-goer that needs your own space to spread out in and don’t like constantly being surrounded by the dancing crowd, Manor probably isn’t for you…

…until you walk outside onto the expansive back patio that is.

Ask just about anyone who has been to Manor on Washington what their favorite feature about the club is and they likely will say the outdoor patio.

Yes, I know. We’re in Houston. Its Hot. I know.

And sometimes it gets really cold too. But then sometimes, for a couple months out the year, Houston has amazing patio weather! The patio at Manor is the perfect escape when you need a break from the raucous, albeit, tight-quartered party going on inside the building. With its own bar and DJ booth, the patio area on certain nights can exist as almost an entirely different venue on its own.
