Okay where do I begin… this is for my music junkies that just love music. Whether you are a DJ, dancer, or just want to hang out, drink, and listen to great music, this is the spot for you. The Lot on Washington Avenue is located on 4212 Washington Avenue next to Pearl Bar.
This great bar provides outstanding bar tending service (shout out to Christina and Kitty Kat) along with Houston’s top DJs providing a wide variety of music from way back in the day for the 21 and up crowd. With no commercial music of course. Since I am a DJ myself (check out www.djbiggo.com), I would say this is the only spot in Houston I know of that actually sticks to its true hip hop, DJ roots. By this I mean I got to spin what I love, which is old school hip hop, and no one told me to change up the format. Local and out of town DJs can come to this bar and express themselves in what they do best, spin music.
On a scale from 1 to 10, I would rate this place a 10 because of its 21 and up only crowd, no dress code, outstanding service at the bar, and great music. I have never had a bad experience nor have I seen fights break out at the bar — which can give any club or venue a perception of being “ghetto”. Everyone at The Lot is very friendly. Shout out to DJ Ill-Set and DJ Masaru a.k.a El Chino, for making Beer and Beats possible at the Lot on Wednesday nights. The Lot has become the go to spot for DJs to hang out, network, and share our love for music while drinking beer. 🙂
For harder spots, feel free to add the teeniest little bit of mild laundry cleaning agent & that
must finish the job.
My aim is that will help you more clearly differentiate the nootropics that work from the brain supplements being fueled by persuasive marketing campaigns.
