Best Chinese restaurant in Houston!!! Well, in the southeast area of our town that we know of. We visited the 888 Chinese Seafood Restaurant on Winkler after tons of referrals and have probably been there 100 times since.We can’t get enough of this place! Trust us,it’s that addictive.
If awesome food isn’t enough, the service is fantastic too. Don’t be too impatient however, just like any other great restaurant, service may be a bit delayed but you will still be seated and taken care of with a smile. There is never a day that this place doesn’t have a full house.
The best and worst time to go is during lunch. Be prepared to wait in line during peak lunch hours because this little treasure will be packed. So it may be best to make a to-go order rather than dining in if you’re one of those people that can’t afford to take those extra 15 minutes.
They have great lunch specials that include your choice of a soup, type of rice, and an entrée at very reasonable prices. If you’re looking for really good hot and sour soup, look no further because they have it. We also recommend the Hunan Chicken or the Shrimp Lo Mein. Menu items range from authentic Chinese cuisine to anything you can get at a Chinese buffet, only ten times better of course. Even their version of sweet and sour sauce is better than the norm!
