We checked out Jolynns Crawfish Restaurant after a few positive recommendations from a reader. From the looks of this place, it doesn’t look like much, but aren’t those the best places? YES, they usually are and this place is no exception!
The main items are crawfish and crab with the usual sides available: corn, potato, and sausage. There are three different flavors and four spicy levels to choose from, so you can mix and match. We tried the lemon pepper and garlic butter extra spicy.
Jolynn’s has a comfortable atmosphere, nothing fancy here, with prompt and friendly service. If it is crawfish season, there will definitely be a wait — both for a table and for your food. Be smart and order ahead.
Whoops! I almost forgot, this place is B.Y.O.B so you know what that means… more money for crawfish! So pick yourself up a six pack of your favorite beer (there’s a liquor store conveniently located next door) because they don’t even charge a cork fee!
